SPECIAL SESSION
SESSION 33: QATAR NORTH FIELD LNG DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Session Chairpersons:

Ibrahim Abou-Sayed, ExxonMobil Upstream Research Co.

This special session will focus on Qatar’s North Field, the world’s largest non-associated gas field with a reserve of over 900 TCF and 23 billion STB of condensate. The series of discussions will begin with a review of the asset, along with Qatar Petroleum’s comprehensive technical, commercial, and project execution plans and strategies to monitize this important resource. The development and commercialization of new technology, unequalled economies of scale, and the integration of these across the LNG value chain to drive down development and operational unit costs, allowing Qatar LNG to competitively bridge the gap between the reservoir and the consumer.
