Since its founding in 1917, the American Association of Petroleum
Geologists (AAPG) has been a pillar of the world-wide scientific
community. The original purpose of AAPG, to foster scientific research,
to advance the science of geology, to promote technology, and to

today. Currently the world's largest professional geological society
with over 30,000, AAPG provides publications,

EAGE
The European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers (EAGE) is a professional society with a worldwide membership providing a global network of commercial and academic professionals to all members. The association is truly multi-disciplinary and international in form and pursuits. The objective is to promote the development and application of geosciences and related engineering subjects and this is achieved through publications, conferences, workshops, education programmes and exhibitions. SEG
The Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) is a not-for-profit
association that promotes the science of geophysics and the education
of applied geophysicists. SEG, founded in 1930, fosters the expert
and ethical practice of geophysics in the exploration and development
of natural resources, in characterizing the near surface, and in
mitigating earth hazards. The Society, which has more than 28,000
members in 130 countries, fulfills its mission through its publications,

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is a not-for-profit professional
association whose members are engaged in energy resources development
