Young Professionals Day | 6 December 2009

Learn, Network, Progress... Towards a Brighter Future

The recent price volatility in the oil and gas industry has definitely changed the landscape we were used to and this uncertain business climate is being experienced by most Young Professionals for the first time. However, such a crisis has already happened previously in our cyclical industry. What could we learn from the past? How can we grow stronger and still further our careers during an economic downturn? This is a time to redefine the priorities in most companies and take appropriate actions. Experts from the industry will share their valuable insight and experience.

This workshop will equip Young Professionals with the skills they need to shape their professional success by focusing on four areas: strategies learnt from history, diversity challenges, technological innovations and enhancement of soft skills for career development. The workshop will also provide a perfect opportunity to network with fellow Young Professionals within the region and build strong ties between future leaders of the oil and gas industry.

Who Should Attend

The workshop is primarily aimed at engineers, human resources professionals, policy makers, industry recruiters, educators and government administrators.
