Visas
Foreign nationals visiting Thailand must possess valid passports or accepted travel documents and appropriate visas before entering the country. Visitors from several countries are permitted without a visa, while visitors from other countries will be granted a visa upon arrival. Conference participants should contact their local Royal Thai Embassy or Royal Thai Consulate-General to confirm visa requirements.

Vaccinations
Visitors do not require vaccinations unless coming from or passing through a designated contaminated area.
Visitors who have travelled from or through countries which are declared Yellow Fever Infected Areas must provide an International Health Certificate proving that they have received a Yellow Fever vaccination.

Transportation
By Air
Thai Airways is appointed the official airline for 2011 IPTC. It currently operates domestic and regional intercontinental flights to 69 destinations in 34 countries across 5 continents. For special net fare, please contact the respective Thai Airways offices.
From the Airport by Taxi and Limo
Taxi and limousine services are available from the airport to the city centre. For taxis, please enquire at the Taxi Counter on Level 1 (Ground Level). Taxi fares from the airport are metered plus 50 Baht airport surcharge and expressway fees. Six types of limousines are available around the clock; enquire at the Limousine Counter on Level 2 (near the Baggage Claim Hall and Arrival Hall). Limousine fares at set rates.
Taxis in the City
Taxis are plentiful in Bangkok and, more often than not, the easiest and most convenient way to get around town. Insist on the taxi driver using the meter at all times. If this is not implemented, hail another taxi.
