Conference materials and badges may be collected at the Conference Registration Counters located at Lobby, Level 1, Beijing International Convention Centre during registration hours.

On-Site Registration

Delegates may register on-site at the Conference Registration Counters located at Lobby, Level 1, Beijing International Convention Centre during the following registration hours:

• Tuesday, 26 March: 0700-1600

Students: Registration for student is complimentary, and includes admission to all technical sessions, exhibition and coffee breaks. Students are required to fax/ e-mail a copy of the current student ID with the registration form, or show their student ID when collecting their badge on-site. Student registration does not include Conference Proceedings or any function tickets.

Advance registration guarantees one (1) copy of Conference Proceedings which is available for collection at the Conference Registration Counter. Additional Conference Proceedings may be pre-ordered on the Advance Registration Form or purchased during registration hours at the conference. Delegates are encouraged to order the Proceedings in advance, as on-site availability is limited.

Young Professionals Workshop - Monday, 25 March

This is a limited attendance workshop. Registration will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis.

Payment Details

All registration fees are payable in US Dollars. Advance registration payment can be made by:

• Credit card – will be charged in US Dollars only: American Express, MasterCard, VISA and Diners Club.
• Telegraphic Transfer (Bank details will be provided on the invoice).
• Chinese Yuan which is accepted at US$1.00 = CNY6.40 (Bank details will be provided on the invoice)

Note: Chinese Yuan is also accepted on-site. However, registrants are encouraged to advance register and then make payment on-site at the conference.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to International Petroleum Technology Conference, Limited c/o Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

• Cancellation received by 28 January 2013 will be refunded less USD 150 processing fee.
• Cancellation received after 28 January 2013 will be refunded less USD 150 or 25% of registration fee whichever is greater.
• No refund will be accepted after 8 March. Substitutions will be accepted.
• No refund if delegate fails to attend.

Visa /Immigration

IPTC delegates travelling to China must be in possession of:

1. A passport valid for at least six (6) months on arrival, and

2. A visa issued by the appropriate Chinese officials prior to departure from your home country.

• Please check with your travel agent or the China Embassy on regulations relating to visa before your departure. You must have an entry visa stamped in your passport for entry to China.You cannot enter on the letter of invitation and then apply for a visa on site.

• Official invitations to apply for Chinese visas are available from the China International Conference Center for Science & Technology (CICCST) through the International Petroleum Technology Conference, Limited c/o Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

• To obtain an invitation, please return the completed “Request for China Visa Invitation Form” to International Petroleum Technology Conference, Limited c/o Society of Petroleum Engineers(SPE) by fax. +60.3.2182.3020 or email: iptcreg@iptcnet.org by 8 March 2013.

• Upon receipt of the invitation issued by China International Conference Center for Science & Technology (CICCST), complete an official Visa Application Form, which can be obtained from the China Embassy/Consulate or your travel agency.
  To apply for a visa, you may:
  1. Take the invitation and application, together with your passport and photo(s) to the Chinese Embassy/Consulate nearest to you, or
  2. Contact your travel agency for visa assistance.

Every visitor to China has to complete the health declaration form and relevant travellers’ declaration forms, to be handed to the officer at the immigration check point.
