Credit Card will be required to register for the conference and training courses. Exhibition only entry is complimentary, pre-registration is strongly recommended.

Full Registration

Full conference registration fees includes: Opening Ceremony, Plenary Sessions, Panel Sessions, Technical Sessions, Exhibition, Coffee Breaks, Daily Luncheons, one Awards Dinner Ticket, one Delegate Bag, and one copy of the Conference Proceedings.

Students: Registration for student is complimentary, and includes admission to all technical sessions, exhibition and coffee breaks. Students are required to fax/ e-mail a copy of the current student ID with the registration form, or show their student ID when collecting their badge on-site. Student registration does not include Conference Proceedings or any function tickets.

Online registration for students is not available. Students are required to fax/ email a copy of the current student ID with the registration form. Advance registration payment can be made by:

  • Registration fees are charged in US Dollar for registrations received via email/fax.
  • Registration fees are charged in AED (UAE Dirham) for online registrations.

Telegraphic Transfer (Bank details will be provided on the invoice).

Qatari Riyal which is accepted at US$1.00 = QR 3.67 approximately (Bank details will be provided on the invoice)

Note: Qatari Riyal is also accepted on-site. However, registrants are encouraged to advance register and then make payment on-site at the conference.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to International Petroleum Technology Conference, Limited c/o Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

  • Cancellations received by 20 November 2013 will receive a full refund less USD 150.
  • Cancellations received after 20 November 2013 will receive a 25% refund or a refund less USD 150, whichever is greater.
  • Cancellations after 6 January 2014 will not be eligible for a refund.
  • No refund will be given if delegate fails to attend the conference.

Visa/Immigration

IPTC delegates travelling to Qatar must be in possession of:

1. A passport valid for at least six (6) months on arrival, and;

2. A visa issued by the appropriate Qatari officials prior to departure from your home country. GCC passport holders do not require a visa, in addition a number of countries qualify for Visa on arrival, be aware that the visa on arrival fee of 100 QR is payable by credit card only. Visa Invitation Letter

IPTC will assist in providing a visa invitation letter, upon request in writing, to confirmed registrants after receiving full payment of registration fees. Visa invitation letters take five days to issue from the date of request and it is the delegate's responsibility to obtain their own visa. IPTC cannot issue the visa nor can we guarantee it will be obtained. If you require a visa invitation letter from IPTC, please send the following information to iptc@iptcnet.org.
