IPTC Statistics

1. The inaugural event was held on 21-23 November 2005, in Doha, Qatar.

  • Host Organisation: Qatar Petroleum
  • Attendance: 2,809 participants from 149 organisations from 48 countries
  • Exhibition: 2,453 sqm of exhibit space with 97 exhibitors from 19 countries.

 

2. The second IPTC was held 4-6 December 2007, in Dubai, U.A.E.

  • Host Organisation: Kuwait Oil Co.
  • Attendance: 3,682 participants from 1,256 organisations from 80 countries
  • Exhibition: 3,188 sqm of exhibit space with 77 exhibitors from 21 countries.

 

3. The third IPTC was held 3-5 December 2008, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

  • Host Organisation: PETRONAS
  • Attendance: 7,568 participants from 1,116 Organisations from 57 countries
  • Exhibition: 4,080 sqm of exhibit space with 87 exhibitors from 21 countries.

 

4. The fourth IPTC was held 7-9 December 2009, in Doha, Qatar

  • Host Organisation: Qatar Petroleum
  • Attendance: 3,250 participants from 574 organisation from 64 countries
  • Exhibition: 2,387 sqm of exhibit space with 68 exhibitors from 22 countries.

 

5. The fifth edition of IPTC was held 7-9 February 2012, in Bangkok, Thailand

  • Host Organisation: PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), a Company of PTT Group
  • Attendance: 4,113 participants from more than 600 organisations and representing 57 countries
  • Exhibition: 2,665 sqm of exhibit space with 55 exhibitors from 19 countries.

 

6. The sixth edition of IPTC will be held 26-28 March 2013, in Beijing, China.

  • Host Organisation: China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC)
  • Expected attendance: 5,000

Future Dates

IPTC in Beijing has been rescheduled to 26-28 March 2013 at the Beijing International Convention Center in Beijing, China, and IPTC in Doha has been rescheduled to 20-22 January 2014.
