IPTC Teachers’ Workshop is designed to allow the teacher to become the student in order to understand the value of using hands on interactive experiments to explain theoretical concepts. Teachers will gain practical experience in STEM activities developed to demonstrate the science behind oil and gas exploration and development and energy transition. In addition, teachers will tour the exhibition floor to discover exciting industry technology and potential career paths for their students.

0845 – 0900 : Keynote Speech: Energy Insight in KSA

0900 – 1030 : Teach the Teachers Session 

Understand the environment & sustainable aspects of the E&P value chain by exploring properties of oil, natural gas, and their formations through hands-on activities.

1030 – 1045 : Coffee Break

1045 – 1100 : Peak Oil Game

This activity aims to explore the production process and its advancing technologies to better extract petroleum for products and energy use.

1145 – 1200 : STEM Correlation / Activity Round-up & Survey

1200 – 1300 : Lunch

1300 – 1430 : Exhibition Tour
