Energy Education University Student Programme

Final-year undergraduate students in science, geoscience, and engineering from around the world are invited to participate in a bespoke programme at IPTC.

This programme aims to provide university students with a clear insight into the industry they are about to join. It also enables them to return to their universities and colleges with a positive story to share with their peers and offers opportunities to interact with several major industry employers looking to recruit the best talent from institutions around the world. Students selected for this programme will have their airfare and accommodation sponsored by IPTC to attend the event.

Criteria

Be enrolled in full-time, undergraduate studies, either in their third or fourth/final year as of 6 September 2024.
Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
Obtain permission from their programme department to be away from their studies from 18 – 20 February 2025 plus travel days.
Be able to demonstrate in evidence that they are in the top 40% of their class.
Follow the IPTC Energy Education University Student Programme Code of Conduct and be able to commit in writing to their institution and IPTC, that they will attend IPTC Energy Education University Student Programme.

Application Process

University faculty nominates student(s) online (students must be nominated by a faculty member).
Nominated student receives an email asking them to complete the online application.
Student applications must be reviewed/endorsed by a faculty member through the online application system.
Applications must be completed by 30 August 2024.
