Background:

• Has over 20 years of experience in PETRONAS.

• Graduated from University of Birmingham, UK, with BEng. in Chemical Engineering in 2004. Received MSc from University Technology PETRONAS and a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London.

• Joined PETRONAS Research (PRSB) in 2004, carrying out R&D in areas related to enhanced oil recovery (EOR) specializing in gas EOR, asphaltenes precipitations, special phase behaviour studies. Involved in many Field development studies such as for Baronia, Baram, Betty, Bokor, Tukau and Samarang fields.

• Other than studies, Adyani’s also led the development of advanced EOR laboratoryin PRSB comprising of 5 coreflooding equipment, Medical CT Scan and Micro CT Scan for monitoring fluid flow in rocks at pore level, Asphaltenes precipitation & Deposition Microscopy, pendant drop interfacial tension etc.

• Now discipline head for Sciences and principal scientist in reservoir technology, specializing in image processing for three-phase flow of different wettability systems.

• She holds a strong interest in talent development, career coaching, and mentoring for young professionals and students.
