The IPTC Sustainability Excellence Award recognises the outstanding efforts and impacts of companies in the upstream oil and gas industry, in innovating, adopting, and promoting key aspects of sustainable energy development at scale. To be eligible for nomination and consideration by the Awards Committee, a company, organisation, or institution shall have made a distinguished achievement in, or contribution to, the field of societal value, health and safety, and sustainability, circular economy and energy transition process towards low carbon technologies, with a minimum capital investment of USD 100 million. This award also celebrates initiatives that prioritise the well-being of people and communities, demonstrating a commitment to human-centered energy sustainability.
